Seems the title All My Life had become a favorite title for every singer or every fans. Besides Mariah Carey that also has the same title, K-CI & JOJO With Born Cedric Hailey (K-Ci) who was born in September 2, 1969 and Joel Hailey (JoJo) born, June 10, 1971; were also made the song with the same title All my Life, and it’s also made the hits!
This both brothers who was born in Charlotte, North Carolina; have parents who were gospel singers. Perhaps the talent was coming to their blood through their parents. So no wonder if they become a good one afterwards. However they both have different genre than the parent. The brother duo of K-Ci and Jo jo were mixing soulful vocals and harmonies with hip-hop attitudes and sounds. That made the parents who were very religious disapproved. However K-Ci and JoJo who grew up with classic gospel sounds of Shirley Caesar, Sam Cooke, and the Winans can not stop their dream. Therefore the brothers’ musical style was based in gospel. In 1989 they joined with another pair of gospel-singing brothers, Dalvin and Donald DeGrate (now known respectively as Mr. Dalvin and DeVante Swing) but at the end that is made them found their real character of music and Platinum American Music Award in 1999 was finally given to them as a reward of all the effort they made.
